Under the establishment “Taywin & Podopedist Co. Ltd.” products registered under the brand “Taywin” have been widely recognized by the people of Thailand as high quality leather goods made in Thailand since 1977.Owing to its unique and fashionable designs along with the promise of high quality, demands for the products have since, risen so rapidly that the company, not soon after launching its first shop in “Ratchathaewe” road began expansion. First, a shop in ‘Siam Square” then later on in several locations all over Thailand. Alongside this, the company has also taken on exporting contracts from clients all over the world, namely Japan and Australia.
In order to accommodate for the expansions, the company set up its own factory under the name “Podopedist Co. Ltd.” and soon after named the establishment “Taywin & Podopedist Co. Ltd.”. In the year 1990, in support of the 100% “Made in Thailand” policy, the company re-registered their trademark from “Taywin” to “Taywin Siam”.
Through out, Quality and Design have remained the company’s highest priorities and soon after the setting up of the factory, decisions were made to import machineries from Italy and Taiwan to assist in the maintenance of high company standard. Graphic computing were utilized as part of the Research & Development process to facilitate in the precise pattern designing. Furthermore the fashion aspects were not overlooked and the company was able to secure not only the most fashion forward but also everlasting designs through the hiring of professional Italian designers.
In present “Taywin & Podopedist Co. Ltd.” have taken part in several projects with the Thailand Ministry of Industry, Department of Export Promotion and the Thai Footwear Association. Furthermore, the company has taken on board notion of sustainable development and as part of that have joined forces with the Bangkok Arts and Craft College in the “Thawipakee” project. Through the project the company were able to assist by awarding scholarships to well needed students and in addition, have taken part in the professional training process thereby were able to equip the students with the knowledge and the know-how of the industry making them a valuable asset to the Thai work-force once graduated
